Traditional approaches and teachings from our Elders and Knowledge Keepers are central to providing culturally safe services for nation members on their healing journeys.


By providing a collaborative approach to working with Indigenous organizations, our team offers a range of services intended to support you in your work caring and advocating for individuals, families & communities impacted by mental health and substance use issues.

Educational and Awareness Training

Education & awareness are of great importance in the Continuing Care in Communities. 


  • Opioids & Crystal Meth 101, and How to Deal with Drug Induced Psychosis
    We have an Addiction Psychiatrist and an Addiction Physician that provide excellent education sessions on these topics.

  • Opioid Poisoning Response Training
    With the continued Opioid Crisis – Opioid Poisonings are happening at a Shocking Rate! Our team works with St. John Ambulance who provides an excellent “Free” 90-minute virtual Opioid Poisoning Response Training for First Nations Communities. This training is for your Programming Staff, Community Members, Students, and Teachers at your community schools. Our Avatar Team also assists in getting Nasal Naloxone out in your communities to “Save Lives.”

  • “Trauma, Illness & Healing” & “Passionate Inquiry Course by Dr Gabor Mate”
    We recently had Dr. Gabor Mate provide a virtual education session on “Trauma, Illness & Healing for First Nations, Metis & Inuit and for professionals that work with Indigenous Populations.  First Nation Communities from across Canada attended the session. Go to

    Dr Gabor Mate’s Passionate Inquiry Course has over 2000 participants form 80 Countries. Our Team will assist in coordinating the Passionate Inquiry Course for your Indigenous Community with Dr Gabor Mate.


Setting up Treatment Centres, Detox /Withdrawal Management Centres, Land-Based Treatment

Our Team will identify the needs and priorities of the centre with your program.


With our experience in setting up a number of Indigenous Treatment Centres we can:

  • Develop Governance, Operational, and Human Resource Policies and Procedures,
  • Create the Operational budget
  • Identify required roles / positions
  • Prepare organizational forms,
  • Create food menus based on the Canada Food Guide
  • Identify and order furnishings, equipment, program and office supplies for the centre.
  • Coordinate the initial recruitment and selection process of all positions hired for the organization, as well as the board of directors.

Our experienced Indigenous business proposal writers have the writing and strategic skills required to develop a winning proposal. We will work together with you to customize, write/edit, and enhance your proposal.


Prepare for Accreditation

Our advisory services will guide you through the accreditation process from start to finish by helping to identify and employ important steps necessary for successful accreditation with the accreditation body of your choice: Accreditation Canada, CARF Canada or CAC. We will also assist with preparing for your Renewals for the Accreditation Body that you are with.


Program Reviews

We have conducted a number of Program Reviews for First Nations Mental Wellness Programs and recommended changes and enhancements to strengthen programs for Indigenous communities. The objective of the review is to help programs achieve its goals and determine the future direction of your program.


Develop Electronic Fillable Administrative/Program Forms

We create and design customized and online fillable forms that will fit your needs and help you easily collect the required information from your clients/colleagues. For example, admission forms, consent forms, contact note forms, critical incident forms, monthly reporting forms, etc.


Conferences, Symposiums, and Staff Retreats

Our Team will meet with your program to help you manage, design, develop, and coordinate your event.

  • Healing Indigenous Intergenerational Trauma Conference (2019), and

Our Web Designer, Indigenous Artist and Graphic Designer will assist your community with creating websites, logo designs, event posters, pamphlets and business cards that are Indigenous focused.
